Welcome, this is Kyle Jameson of Springfield Community Broadcasters! I'm a lifelong multi-instrumentalist composer, and music enthusiast, who hosts
"The Breeze" syndicated radio show
for WQNA, Springfield, Illionois, and Jazz 90.1, Rochester, NY, as well as numerous other affiliates
. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I grew up with the Atlanta jazz-fusion and rock music scene during the late 70s, and early 80s, leading to a passion for performing music, collecting music, as well as a love for radio. I listened to a nightly "jazz fusion" show called
Jazz Flavours on Atlanta's WQXI-FM from 1978-1989. I recorded countless hours of that show on tape, and it's that musical upbringing that spurred me at a young age of 12 years onto collecting records and tapes in a wide array of genres!
Well, here we are in 2023, and I am honored to be a radio host on WQNA out of Springfield, Illinois, as well as Jazz 90.1 in Rochester, NY. I host a weekly, three-hour long contemporary jazz/fusion show called
"The Breeze" , which focuses on a lot of instrumental/vocal fusion related music of the 70s, 80s and 90s, as well as forthcoming artists. "The Breeze" airs on WQNA on Thursday nights at 9 PM - 12 AM Central
Listen Live to WQNA here! "The Breeze" for Jazz 90.1 airs on Saturday nights at 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM Eastern
Listen to Jazz 90.1 here!
This website is where I upload all of my shows after they air live. Whether you are a radio station affiliate, or an avid listener, please explore this site, and enjoy the musical colors here on The Breeze!
